This is the opening paragraph of your feature article. It introduces the subject with enough force to pull the reader forward. The tone here is analytical and direct — no hedging, no throat-clearing. State the argument plainly. This publication does not traffic in ambiguity for its own sake.
Continue developing the argument in subsequent paragraphs. Each sentence earns its place. This is where you deepen the analysis, introduce evidence, or frame the stakes of the question you are examining.
